Now, just in case you’re wondering who on earth this girl is, here are a few facts about me:

Allegra Wordweaver is my pen name (not surprisingly).  

I grew up in Maine, ranging the forests and hills of the countryside.

I currently work as a teacher’s aide to young children in a Christian school.

My favorite time period is the Middle Ages.

I’ve had several pet rats (they’re much friendlier than hamsters).

I like researching history, baking (semi-) healthy desserts, and exploring the forest while listening to Celtic and Irish music.

Oh, and I also like researching quirky, obscure, and archaic words.  Like flittermouse.

I love getting to know God better, and seeing new facets of His character.  He’s breathtakingly beautiful.
