Trapped in the lair of a cruel dragon, a teenage boy named Evander is desperate to find a way out.  He knows that if he can reach the Castle, the great King will give him aid.  But how to reach the Royal Fortress?  The harder he tries to escape, the harder he fails.  All his efforts seem to avail nothing.

When Evander finds the King’s Book, he thinks he’s found a way to fight back.  But the dragon is more cunning than Evander realizes, and his own evil runs deeper than he first thought.
